Ingredients
Yields 1 12-inch pizza
- (1 lb) pizza dough
- (1/2 cups) ricotta cheese
- (1/2 cups) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- (1/4 cups) parmesan cheese, grated
- (2 cloves) garlic, minced
- (1 tbsp) olive oil
- (1/2 tsp) salt
- (1/2 tsp) black pepper
- (1/4 tsp) red pepper flakes (optional)
- (1/4 cups) fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the oven to 475°F (245 °C).

On a floured surface, stretch or roll out the 1 lb pizza dough into a 12-inch round.

Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.

In a bowl, mix together 1/2 cup ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper until well combined.

Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Top the dough with sauce and mozzarella. Add optional toppings if desired, then bake until golden and bubbling.
