- (1/4 cups) soy sauce
- (1/4 cups) honey
- (1 tablespoon) rice vinegar
- (1 tablespoon) cornstarch
- (1/4 cups) water
- (1 tablespoon) vegetable oil
- (1) bell pepper, sliced
- (1 cup) broccoli florets
- (1 cup) snap peas
- (2 cloves) garlic, minced
- (1 teaspoon) ginger, minced
- (2) green onions, sliced
- (1 tablespoon) sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- 1
In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup honey, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Stir in 1/4 cup water until smooth to create the teriyaki sauce.
- 2
Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 lb chicken breast and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- 3
Add 2 cloves minced garlic and 1 teaspoon minced ginger to the skillet. Stir and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 4
Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken in the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
- 5
Add 1 bell pepper, 1 cup broccoli florets, and 1 cup snap peas to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- 6
Remove from heat and garnish with 2 sliced green onions and 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, if desired.
