Ingredients

Servings4

Yields 4 servings

  • (4) pork chops
  • (1 tablespoon) olive oil
  • (1/4 cups) honey
  • (2 tablespoons) soy sauce
  • (1 tablespoon) apple cider vinegar
  • (1 teaspoon) sriracha
  • (1/2 teaspoons) ground ginger
  • (1/2 teaspoons) garlic powder
  • (1/4 teaspoons) black pepper
  • (2) apples, thinly sliced
  • (1 cup) shredded green cabbage
  • (1/4 cups) plain yogurt
  • (1 tablespoon) lemon juice
  • (1/4 teaspoons) salt

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, mix together (1/4 cup) honey, (2 tablespoons) soy sauce, (1 tablespoon) apple cider vinegar, (1 teaspoon) sriracha, (1/2 teaspoon) ground ginger, (1/2 teaspoon) garlic powder, and (1/4 teaspoon) black pepper to create the glaze.

  2. 2

Heat (1 tablespoon) olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the (4) pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63 °C).

  3. 3

Pour the glaze over the pork chops and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, turning the chops to coat them evenly in the glaze.

  4. 4

While the pork chops are cooking, prepare the apple slaw. In a large bowl, combine the (2) thinly sliced apples, (1 cup) shredded green cabbage, (1/4 cup) plain yogurt, (1 tablespoon) lemon juice, and (1/4 teaspoon) salt. Mix well until everything is coated.

  5. 5

Remove the pork chops from heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

  6. 6

Serve the glazed pork chops alongside the apple slaw for a delicious meal.
