  • Fresh fruit for topping (e.g., sliced bananas, berries)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

  2. 2

Add 2 cups of rolled oats, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon to the boiling water.

Stir in 1 medium grated carrot and 2 ripe mashed bananas into the oatmeal.

  5. 5

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.

Remove from heat and let sit for a couple of minutes to thicken if needed.

  8. 8

Serve warm, topped with chopped walnuts and fresh fruit.
