Spicy Honey Garlic Shrimp Bowls

Ingredients
Yields 4 servings
- (1 lb) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- (1/4 cups) honey
- (3 tbsp) soy sauce
- (3 cloves) garlic, minced
- (1 tablespoon) sriracha sauce
- (1 tablespoon) olive oil
- (2 cups) cooked jasmine rice
- (1) red bell pepper, sliced
- (1 cup) broccoli florets
- (1) avocado, sliced
- (2) green onions, chopped
- (1 tablespoon) sesame seeds
- (1/2 tsp) black pepper

In a bowl, whisk together (1/4 cup) honey, (3 tbsp) soy sauce, (3 cloves) minced garlic, and (1 tablespoon) sriracha sauce. Set aside.

In a large skillet, heat (1 tablespoon) olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the (1 lb) shrimp to the skillet and season with (1/2 tsp) black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, until they start to turn pink.

Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp, stirring to coat well. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp are fully cooked and the sauce thickens slightly.

In the last minute of cooking, add (1 cup) broccoli florets and (1) sliced red bell pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and heat through.

To serve, divide (2 cups) cooked jasmine rice into bowls. Top each bowl with the spicy honey garlic shrimp and vegetables.
