  • (4) corn tortillas
  • (1/4 cups) lime juice
  • (3 tbsp) olive oil
  • (4 cloves) garlic, minced
  • (1 tbsp) chili powder
  • (1 tsp) cumin
  • (1 tsp) smoked paprika
  • (1/2 tsp) black pepper
  • (1/2 tsp) salt
  • (1/4 tsp) cayenne pepper
  • (1) avocado, sliced
  • (1/2 cups) diced tomatoes
  • (1/4 cups) chopped cilantro
  • (1/4 cups) diced red onion

Instructions

    In a bowl, combine (1/4 cup) lime juice, (3 tbsp) olive oil, (4 cloves) minced garlic, (1 tbsp) chili powder, (1 tsp) cumin, (1 tsp) smoked paprika, (1/2 tsp) black pepper, (1/2 tsp) salt, and (1/4 tsp) cayenne pepper to create the marinade.

    Place the (1 lb) flank steak in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag, ensuring the steak is well coated, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

    Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.

    Cook the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 135°F for medium-rare.
