- (4 cups) chicken broth
- (1 cup) shredded cheddar cheese
- (1 cup) heavy cream
- (1 teaspoon) dried thyme
- (1 teaspoon) salt
- (1/2 teaspoons) black pepper
- (1/4 teaspoons) paprika
- (2 tablespoons) chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

In the slow cooker, combine 4 medium potatoes (peeled and diced), 1 cup diced ham, 1 medium onion (chopped), and 2 cloves garlic (minced). Add 2/4 teaspoon black pepper.

Pour in 4 cups chicken broth and stir to combine all ingredients.

Add 1 teaspoon dried thyme, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon paprika. Stir well.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the potatoes are tender.
