Simple Garlic Butter Chicken Thighs with Green Beans

Ingredients

- (4) chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- (2 tbsp) unsalted butter
- (4 cloves) garlic, minced
- (1 tsp) salt
- (1/2 tsp) black pepper
- (1/2 tsp) dried thyme
- (1 lb) fresh green beans, trimmed
- (1 tbsp) lemon juice
- (2 tbsp) fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200 °C).

In a large oven-safe skillet, melt (2 tbsp) unsalted butter over medium heat.

Add (4 cloves) minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Season the (4) chicken thighs with (1 tsp) salt, (1/2 tsp) black pepper, (1/2 tsp) dried thyme,.

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the chicken thighs skin-side down to the skillet. Sear for about 5-6 minutes until the skin is golden brown.

Flip the chicken thighs over and add the (1 lb) trimmed green beans to the skillet around the chicken.

Drizzle the (1 tbsp) lemon juice over the chicken and green beans.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F) and the green beans are tender.
