Sheet Pan Teriyaki Salmon and Asparagus

Ingredients
Yields 4 servings
- (4) salmon fillets
- (2 lb) fresh asparagus, trimmed
- (1/2 cups) teriyaki sauce
- (2 tbsp) olive oil
- (4 cloves) garlic, minced
- (1 tsp) black pepper
- (1/2 tsp) sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- (4) green onions, sliced (optional, for garnish)

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200 °C).

On a large sheet pan, drizzle (2 tbsp) olive oil, and spread it evenly across the surface.

Place the (4) salmon fillets in the center of the sheet pan and arrange the (2 lb) asparagus around the salmon.

In a small bowl, mix together (1/2 cup) teriyaki sauce, (4 cloves) minced garlic, and (1 tsp) black pepper. Pour this mixture over the salmon and asparagus, coating them well.

Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with (1/2 tsp) sesame seeds and (4) sliced green onions, if desired, for garnish. Serve hot.
