One-Pan Garlic Butter Steak and Asparagus

Ingredients
Yields 4 servings
- (1 lb) flank steak, sliced against the grain
- (1 lb) asparagus, trimmed
- (4 tbsp) unsalted butter
- (4 cloves) garlic, minced
- (1 tbsp) olive oil
- (1 tsp) salt
- (1/2 tsp) black pepper
- (1/2 tsp) garlic powder
- (1/2 tsp) onion powder
- (1 tbsp) fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

In a large skillet, heat (1 tbsp) olive oil over medium-high heat.

Season the (1 lb) flank steak with (1 tsp) salt, (1/2 tsp) black pepper, (1/2 tsp) garlic powder, and (1/2 tsp) onion powder.

Add the seasoned steak to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add (4 tbsp) unsalted butter and let it melt over medium heat.

Add (4 cloves) minced garlic and to the skillet. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

Add (1 lb) trimmed asparagus to the skillet and season with a pinch of salt. Stir well to coat with the garlic butter.

Cover the skillet and cook the asparagus for about 4-5 minutes, or until tender-crisp.

Return the cooked steak to the skillet, allowing it to warm through and soak up the garlic butter flavors for about 1 minute.
