Ingredients
Yields 4 servings
- (2) ripe avocados
- (1) medium tomato, diced
- (1/4 cups) red onion, finely chopped
- (1 clove) garlic, minced
- (1) lime, juiced
- (1/4 teaspoons) cumin
- (1/4 teaspoons) salt
- (1/4 teaspoons) black pepper
- (1 tablespoon) fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions

Cut the 2 ripe avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.

Mash the avocado with a fork until creamy but still slightly chunky.

Add the juice of 1 lime to the mashed avocado and mix well.

Stir in 1 medium diced tomato, 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion, and 1 clove minced garlic.

Sprinkle in 1/4 teaspoon cumin, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, then mix until combined.

If desired, add 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro and stir gently to incorporate.
