Garlic Herb Butter Steak served with roasted potatoes.

Ingredients

Servings4

Yields 4 servings

  • (4) (6 oz) ribeye steaks
  • (1/2 cups) unsalted butter
  • (4 cloves) garlic, minced
  • (2 tablespoons) fresh parsley, chopped
  • (1 tablespoon) fresh thyme, chopped
  • (1 teaspoon) salt
  • (1/2 teaspoons) black pepper
  • (2 pounds) baby potatoes, halved
  • (2 tablespoons) olive oil
  • (1 teaspoon) paprika

Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200 °C).

  2. 2

In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 4 cloves minced garlic, 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, 1 tablespoon chopped thyme, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Mix well and set aside.

  3. 3

Place 2 pounds of halved baby potatoes on a baking sheet. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons olive oil, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon paprika, and toss to coat evenly.

  4. 4

Roast the potatoes in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and tender, flipping halfway through.

  5. 5

While the potatoes are roasting, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the 4 ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.

  6. 6

Add the steaks to the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.

  7. 7

During the last minute of cooking, add the prepared garlic herb butter to the skillet, spooning it over the steaks as it melts.

  8. 8

Once cooked, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  9. 9

Serve the garlic herb butter steak alongside the roasted potatoes.
