Garlic Butter Shrimp and Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients
Yields 4 servings
- (8 oz) spaghetti
- (1 lb) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- (2 cups) broccoli florets
- (4 tbsp) unsalted butter
- (4 cloves) garlic, minced
- (1/4 tsp) red pepper flakes
- (1/2 tsp) salt
- (1/4 tsp) black pepper
- (1/4 cups) grated Parmesan cheese
- (2 tbsp) fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions

Cook 8 oz spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt 4 tbsp unsalted butter over medium heat.

Add 4 cloves minced garlic and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add 1 lb shrimp to the skillet and season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and cooked through. Add 2/4 tsp salt.

Stir in 2 cups broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until broccoli is tender but still bright green.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.

Sprinkle 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese and 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley over the pasta. Toss again to combine.
