Garlic Butter Chicken and Asparagus

- (4) chicken breasts
- (1 lb) asparagus, trimmed
- (1/2 cups) unsalted butter
- (5 cloves) garlic, minced
- (1 tsp) paprika
- (1 tsp) dried thyme
- (1/2 tsp) salt
- (1/2 tsp) black pepper
- (2 tbsp) lemon juice
- (2 tbsp) fresh parsley, chopped

In a large skillet, melt the (1/2 cup) unsalted butter over medium heat.

Add the (5 cloves) minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Season the (4) chicken breasts with (1 tsp) paprika, (1/2 tsp) salt, and (1/2 tsp) black pepper.

Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the (1 lb) trimmed asparagus and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.

Drizzle the (2 tbsp) lemon juice over the asparagus and stir to combine.

Return the chicken to the skillet with the asparagus, add the (1 tsp) dried thyme, and toss everything together to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
