Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings

- (2 cups) chicken broth
- (1 cup) carrots, sliced
- (1 cup) celery, chopped
- (1 cup) onion, diced
- (1 cup) frozen peas
- (1 tsp) dried thyme
- (1 tsp) garlic powder
- (1/2 tsp) black pepper
- (1/4 tsp) salt
- (1 can) (10 2/4 oz) cream of chicken soup
- (2 cups) biscuit dough (store-bought or homemade)

Place 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the crockpot.

Add 2 cups chicken broth, 1 cup sliced carrots, 1 cup chopped celery, and 1 cup diced onion to the crockpot.

Stir in 1 cup frozen peas, 1 tsp dried thyme, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1/4 tsp salt.

Pour in 1 can (10 1/2 oz) cream of chicken soup and mix until well combined.

Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the crockpot.

Cut 2 cups biscuit dough into quarters and drop them on top of the chicken mixture.

Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through and fluffy.
