Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken and Broccoli Skillet

Ingredients
Yields 4 servings
- (1 lb) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- (2 cups) broccoli florets
- (4 cloves) garlic, minced
- (1 cup) heavy cream
- (1/2 cups) grated Parmesan cheese
- (2 tablespoons) olive oil
- (1 teaspoon) Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add 1 lb of chicken breast pieces to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add 2 cups of broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and stir to combine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.

Stir in 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat with the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
