Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken and Broccoli Bake

  • (1 lb) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • (2 cups) broccoli florets
  • (1 cup) heavy cream
  • (1 cup) grated Parmesan cheese
  • (4 cloves) garlic, minced
  • (1 teaspoon) onion powder
  • (1 teaspoon) Italian seasoning
  • (1/2 teaspoons) salt
  • (1/4 teaspoons) black pepper
  • (1 tablespoon) olive oil
  • (1 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese

    Preheat the oven to 375°F (190 °C).

    In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 lb of boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before slicing into bite-sized pieces.

    In the same skillet, add 4 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

    Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce is well combined and slightly thickened. Add 1 teaspoon onion powder, 2/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, 2 cups of broccoli florets, and the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. Mix until everything is well coated.

    Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly and top with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
