Classic Turkey Club Sandwich with Fresh Veggies

Ingredients
Yields 4 servings
- (8 slices) whole grain bread
- (8 ounces) sliced turkey breast
- (4 slices) cooked bacon
- (4 slices) cheddar cheese
- (1) medium tomato, sliced
- (1) medium cucumber, thinly sliced
- (1 cup) leaf lettuce
- (1/4 cups) mayonnaise
- (1 tablespoon) Dijon mustard
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions

Toast 8 slices of whole grain bread until golden brown. Add Salt to taste.

Spread 1/4 cup mayonnaise evenly on 4 slices of toasted bread.

Layer 8 ounces of sliced turkey breast on top of the mayonnaise on each of the 4 slices.

Add 4 slices of cooked bacon on top of the turkey on each sandwich.

Place 1 slice of cheddar cheese on top of the bacon for each sandwich.

Add 1 medium tomato, sliced, and 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced, on top of the cheese.

Top with 1 cup of leaf lettuce on each sandwich.

Spread 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard on the remaining 4 slices of toasted bread and place them on top to close the sandwiches.
