Classic Tuna Salad Sandwiches

- (2 cans) (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained
- (1/2 cups) mayonnaise
- (1/4 cups) diced celery
- (1/4 cups) diced red onion
- (1 tablespoon) Dijon mustard
- (1 tablespoon) lemon juice
- (1/4 teaspoons) salt
- (1/4 teaspoons) black pepper
- (8 slices) whole grain bread
- (4) leaves romaine lettuce
- (1) tomato, sliced

In a medium bowl, combine 2 cans of drained tuna, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup diced celery, 1/4 cup diced red onion, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.

Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and creamy.

Lay out 4 slices of whole grain bread on a clean surface.

Spread a generous portion of the tuna salad mixture on each slice of bread.

Top each tuna salad with a leaf of romaine lettuce and a slice of tomato.
