- (8 slices) of bread (preferably brioche or challah)
- (2 tablespoons) butter
- (1 cup) mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- Maple syrup (for serving)

In a large bowl, whisk together 4 large eggs, 1 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon until well combined.

Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons butter, allowing it to melt and coat the surface.

Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated but not soaked.

Place the coated bread slices onto the skillet or griddle, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

While the French toast is cooking, wash and prepare 1 cup of mixed fresh berries by slicing strawberries if needed.
