In a mixing bowl, combine (1) cup rolled oats, (2) cups milk, (1 tbsp) chia seeds, (1/2 tsp) ground cinnamon, and (1/4 tsp) vanilla extract. Stir until the oats are well mixed with the liquid.

Add (1) ripe banana, mashed, and (1 tbsp) honey or maple syrup if desired. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
