Cheeseburger Sliders

- (3/4 lb) ground beef
- (1/4 cups) finely chopped onion
- (1/4 cups) breadcrumbs
- (1/4 tsp) salt
- (1/4 tsp) black pepper
- (1/4 tsp) garlic powder
- (1/4 tsp) Worcestershire sauce
- (4) slider buns
- (4 slices) cheddar cheese
- (1/4 cups) ketchup
- (1/4 cups) mustard
- (3/4 cups) shredded lettuce
- (1/2) tomato, sliced

In a large bowl, mix together (3/4 lb) ground beef, (1/4 cup) finely chopped onion, (1/4 cup) breadcrumbs, (1/4 tsp) salt, (1/4 tsp) black pepper, (1/4 tsp) garlic powder, and (1/4 tsp) Worcestershire sauce until just combined.

Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape them into small patties.

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

In the last minute of cooking, place (3/4 slice) cheddar cheese on each patty and cover until melted.

While the patties are cooking, prepare the slider buns by toasting them lightly on a separate skillet or grill.

Assemble the sliders by placing a cheeseburger patty on the bottom half of each slider bun.

Top each patty with (1/4 cup) shredded lettuce, (3/4 slice) tomato, (1/4 cup) ketchup, and (1/4 cup) mustard.
