- (2) ripe avocados
- (1/2 teaspoons) salt
- (1/4 teaspoons) black pepper
- (1 tablespoon) lemon juice
- (4 ounces) feta cheese, crumbled
- (1/4 teaspoons) red pepper flakes
- (1 tablespoon) fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Toast 4 slices of whole grain bread until golden brown.

While the bread is toasting, cut 2 ripe avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.

Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice to the bowl with the avocado.

Mash the avocado mixture with a fork until creamy but still chunky.
